HITEMWIDIT / Old Mate Drop (19/4)

Hey!

Just a quick email to let you know that we’ve got some new stuff out now, available online via our online store or via our awesome stockists.

First up we’ve got our new ‘old mate’ jeans.

They fit somewhere between a skinny and straight leg jean, depending on what size you pick and how tree trunky your legs are. Compared to our dark denim jeans, they are the slightest touch baggier and have a higher waist / crotch. After a more of a straight leg slightly-baggy-but-not-too-baggy look? Buy a size up.

Scroll down to see true-to-colour photos, it’s easier to suss them out than try to explain the colour!

Spec wise, they are 97% cotton / 3% spandex blend… nice and stretchy. As usual we’ve paid attention to the little details, shit’s legit!  We’ve also expanded our sizes, so we’ve now got 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36.

We’ve also dropped a new tee, aptly named ‘HITEMWIDIT!’. Basically on our trip Jadan Roxburgh (aka. J-BOMB… aka. Skater-boy… aka. Avril) was droppin HITEMWIDITS real heavy, so then we all started saying HITEMWIDIT, and I dunno, it seemed pretty appropriate to work on a tee along those lines. Add some rasta colours into the mix and we’re pretty stoked.

Same pre-shrunk, slightly taller than usual, 180GSM cotton blanks as we always run. Made somewhere else but still printed in Adelaide… keeping it as real as we can!

So here’s the animated gif with all the delicious pictures and information condensed into 16 slides:

And here’s a few photos that Mikey and I shot this afternoon, shreddderrrrr. For the record, Mikey is usually a 32 waist but went a size up to 34 to get a bit of extra steeze in his stride.

Support Your Local (18/4)

Last week my friends Dre and Simon at The Sanction announced that they were shutting up shop. Why? Basically because they couldn’t compete with overseas mail order. There’s a little video about it here.

Simon / The Sanction / Support Your Local

I’m not even going to bother getting preachy about this shit. The people that understand the value of a local BMX shop will shop local. The cats that don’t get it won’t get it because I wrote a bunch of words. It’s a frustrating status quo, I just hope that there are enough of us that know what time it is.

Otherwise we’re heading back to 1999, and that is not a good thing.

Have a good sleep Sangas, can’t wait till you wake up.

What? (13/4)

The other day when Kurt from BMX Union approached me and wanted to do an interview on Dishonour, I was kinda freaked out. I mean, Dishonour ain’t that legit. Not legit enough to be even on Kurt’s radar, let alone worthy of an interview on BMX Union.

Anyway, if you wanna see where we’ve come from, where we are at, and where this is all going, click here and check out the interview.

Yeooow! Thanks Kurt!

Happy Birthday Brad (11/4)

It was Brad’s birthday on the weekend, he turned 18… which is kinda funny, cause I thought he was 21 untill like a month ago. Whoops. Ben McPherson shot this photo of Brad gettin a bit wild on Saturday night.

Word on the street is Brad’s dad knows how to start a fire.

Chris Barnes / Arvo Jib Edit (11/4)

I’ve been pestering Chris for ages to put together an edit, and he’s come through with the goods. Chris is partial to a bit of creative jibbery, so it should come as no surprise that this edit has some silly tech jazz that makes no sense to people like myself. I see what’s goin’ on, but I got no idea how he does it. See for yourself:

Chris rides flow for Dishonour, is from Kerang, and jibs with the best of em. Hitemwidit!

Just a little bit more Caleb (8/4)

Caleb’s been killing it lately, here are a few shots from Illman. I don’t even want to think about how Caleb will be riding when he hits 15 or something.
