BYO Jam (6/6)

Matt from Little Black Bike and me have been talking about doing a jam for months now… it seems like forever since we held the Dude Man Jam… that was back in April 2010, I think?

We’re going to have this one at Goodwood Skatepark / Plaza. If you haven’t been there before, Goodwood is a kinda fun skate plaza… but it’s missing a little something… so to spice things up we’re going to bring a bunch of ledges, rails, kickers and I think there’s a quarter pipe in there for good measure.

It’s in a couple of weeks time, so make sure you’ve got Saturday June 18 free. Should be a really fun afternoon.

Here’s the flyer:

Dishonour x Little Black Bike - BYO Jam @ Goodwood Skatepark, Saturday June 18

Supported by Little Black Bike and Dishonour. Word!

Free Tee Sale (5/6)

I spent a bit of time cleaning up our spare room… basically where Dishonour lives. Because of the drops over the last two weeks it had gotten pretty out of hand… so today I paid a visit to ikea to buy a few more racks, put a few hours in and now it is kinda organised which should make life a little bit easier.

Dishonour's Home

So anyway, I stumbled across a bunch of tees that aren’t even on the online store anymore. I toyed with the idea of just giving them to Goodwill or The Salvos, but figured I should at least try to give them away to riders first.

Ok… so basically with any purchase (except for stickers) I’ll send out a free tee. I can’t guarantee the size but I’ll try and match it with whatever size item was purchased. So if you buy a I BIKE tee, a pair of sunnies and a beanie I’ll send out three free tees. Good deal!

Hit up the online store and get on it.

Here is the stack of tees that has to go. There’s about 20 in there… this sale will go on till they are all gone.

Peace!

Mikey McMah Scraps (3/6)

Adelaide people would be well aware of this, but Doug has been clippin’ up for the last 3 or 4 months pretty solid for a DVD he’s been working on. He holla-ed at me and said that he had some scraps of Mikey that he’d edited up… I got stoked… he uploaded it to our Vimeo… the rest is history.

Doug is in Melbourne right now so say hi if you see him lurkin with his VX.

caleb & illman / re-up (2/6)

A month or two ago, Caleb and Illman came out with a bangin’ arvo edit. I was very pumped on it. Anyway, I was just browsing through photos that have been e-mailed to me, and found these shots from the day they clipped up. I dug the photos and figured I should re-up the video while I’m at it…

j-bomb (31/5)

5 years today for Dishonour (suss the drop here if you haven’t), thought I’d post up some vintage and not so vintage edits of my boy Jadan that he was showin’ me the other day.

Jadan holds it down in Nowra which is Central Coast, I’m pretty sure. He’s also one of the funniest dudes I’ve ever met. One word, best dude.

And his recent promo for the HITEMWIDIT tees and Old Mate Jeans. Some Old mates left, hit the online store

Now it’s time for some beers! Five years down… no idea how many more yeow!

5 years / I BIKE drop (29/5)

So, today, it’s Dishonour’s fifth birthday. It seems kinda weird to me, thinking back to that fateful night when I was chillin’ in the 3E house and decided that I wanted to start printing some t-shirts.

Since back then, the brand has come a long way. Like a really long way. Even though I still wouldn’t call Dishonour legit, back then it was really, really, really not-legit. It still kinda trips me out that it even went anywhere, or sold anything, cause the first few t-shirts were terrible. Guess I gotta say thanks to everyone that bought one of those tees!

I guess on a more serious note, I’ve got to say thankyou to everyone that’s ever bought a Dishonour product. This whole thing would have gone nowhere if nobody bought nothing. So seriously, thanks! And thankyou to all of the stockists, the team, anyone who has ever given me advice, all my mates past and present. I don’t want to rattle off names because I’ll forget people.

So anyway – this is not just a soppy post thanking everyone and acting like we’ve actually achieved something. There’s more!

For this kinda cool birthday/anniversary, we’ve re-released something. I know I preach day-in, day-out about limited edition this, not ever re-printing that, but I figured this was a special occasion so it’s ok. Kinda like when you’re 14 and Mum lets you have a beer at Christmas or whatever. And then your uncle puts Jack in your coke. Then you mess with something, then you’re grounded. Kinda like that.

But yeah, we’re re-releasing our I BIKE tee. I think this got dropped back in 2008, maybe 2009, and we did it for Adelaide and Melbourne. They both sold out in around 2 weeks, and since then we’ve been hassled hundreds of times to release them, or do them for other cities.

So just this once, we’ve made more! But this time, we’ve dropped them for every Australian capital city (and also for Helensvale – available exclusively from Vale BMX).

They’re available in white (HV has some blacks, but only for the Vale tees) and are out now on our online store. All of our stockists WILL DEFINITELY have them tomorrow if you want to buy from a store.

Here are some images:

Dishonour - I BIKE - Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart, Perth, Canberra, Helensvale

Dishonour Brand - I BIKE TEES - Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart, Perth, Canberra, Helensvale

What are you waiting for? Hit up the online store or a stockist real soon or you’re going to miss out.

Jake Shepherd / V2 Simple & Heavy Hitters Promo (28/5)

Last night Jake and me (and Mikey and Dullah and Doug) went for a ride in between rain to get a few clips for the V2 Simple beanies & Heavy Hitters crewnecks promo. Just a bit of fun yaddamean:

Stay tuned cause Jake is working on a full length edit, and if you don’t have a beanie or crewneck hit up the online store or one of our stockists before they run ouuut.
