Major Work Singlets

March 20th, 2011 — 4:09pm

For March, we’ve dropped some real neat cotton singlets. They’re tall, they’re made from light cotton, and they’re real comfy. Definitely going to be spending a few arvos this Autumn chilling in a few.

Colourways are white with black ink, sweatshirt grey with black print and dark sweatshirt grey with black ink for some tonal action.

They’re $35 each, and are available online now via our online store and will be in-store at Backbone, Helensvale, Little Black Bike, The Sanction and Welly’s cycles by this Wednesday, 23rd March.

Here’s the web promo, get on it.

Will Gunn can most likely do higher 3′s than you. Here’s a photo of Will killing the BMX Games box jump:

Vintage Tenna

March 14th, 2011 — 12:15am

I was lurking Vimeo for a bit and stumbled across these edits of Tenna.

This first one is from like 2 years ago. On our trip we paid a visit to Albury/Wodonga and sussed out the first rail… that massive double kinker. Let me tell you, it doesn’t do the rail justice. I think Tenna put a $500 bounty on it… safe to say nobody wanted to take a shot at it. To illustrate the point further, someone mentioned that Mick B had a suss and walked away from it.

This second one is a bit newer. If you’re not into mail nudity, skip out at the part where Tenna grabs a beer outta the fridge. If you’re into it, well then you’d be stoked wouldn’t ya.

Andre is a creep. OI ANDRE!

Trip Teaser

March 13th, 2011 — 3:38am

Here’s a little teaser for our trip edit. There’s going to be an article / photos in 2020 #40 (due out in May) and the edit will be dropped simultaneously. Enjoy!

Massive thanks to Jason Cousins from Roadtripz for driving us around and organising the logistics of travel and accomodation, and of course the crew for coming out, shredding and having a good time.

Oh and if you’re wondering what the hell ‘Playin with the boys’ is in reference to… well this track got a few plays on the bus:

Couple of months for the full edit ain’t no thang!

Trip Synopsis

March 11th, 2011 — 12:52am

So yeah the trip ended on Tuesday/Wednesday, and since then I’ve been slowly coming back to reality. It started with dealing with traffic in my car, which I blissfully ignored whilst being chauffeured by the man Mr Jason Cousins. Then I had to answer a bunch of emails. Then I had to mail a bunch of stuff. I think I’m back in reality now.

But back to the point. Trip synopsis. Basically the trip was super rad. It was real cool to get all the guys together to hang out, ride and have a few beers. I guess we lucked out, cause the group got along real well, we rode some rad spots, nobody really had a tantrum (which believe it or not, can happen), and we only stayed in one shitty hostel. Steer clear of Bondi YHA, you will get some stinky ass dudes in your room.

Now I’ll try pick out some main points. Will Gunn airs high, but got a few secret weapons. Jadan is really, really funny. Chris Barnes is a silent shredder. Brad Wright rules. Brock Olive destroyed everything. Mozzy ain’t washed up, he did some retarded shit. If you want to get on Dre’s nerves yell ‘OI ANDRE’ at him, he loses it. HITEMWIDIT! Jason Cousins is the coolest bus driver ever. Brad Simms hitched a ride from Canberra to Melbourne, also he can hop pretty high. Oh and he can air high as well, I didn’t know that. Sam Illman has the best barspins this side of the equator. Tom Blanch did the best trick I’ve seen in ages at Melbourne City Park, he knows what I’m talkin’ bout. Jake Shepherd is my pal. Mike McMah scales four story buildings in search of a beer. Tenna is OG. And I suck at taking photos. The end.

So now here are some photos…

The crew in Canberra.

Brock, nose to bars. This ain’t no thing either.

Who would do such a thing?!

Hitemwidit!

Brad gettin’ a bit mad at the world.

Jadan midway through a Luc-e easy 180.

Sneaky roll through Canberra.

Chillin in Beechworth.

Mozzy. 3 no foot can. Yeeeeeah mate.

Dude is booting us and picking his nose. Fair go brother!

Also we have a little teaser edit from the trip, and will be dropping the full edit with 2020 #40, which is kind due May-ish. It will be worth the wait, I promise!

Time to Head Home

March 8th, 2011 — 11:46am

At the start of the trip, I had the best intentions to post lots of photos and stories and what not from the trip. But amoungst riding, hanging out and partying, it was pretty hard to find time (and internet) to post stuff up. We’re driving back to Adelaide right now from Melbourne, and I somehow worked out to use my iPhone to hook my mac, so now we are in business. If I had worked out how to do that earlier, blog life would have been good!

So yeah, here are a few quick and cheeky snaps from the trip. I’ll sort through the photos some more later and post them up. Yeah!

The trip has been so good, so much good riding gone down as well as a bunch of fun times. Yew! Next stop is Horsham, then we are going to bee line to Adelaide for naps.
