Cali 2.5 Sunnies & Tie Dyes

February 22nd, 2011 — 11:35am

Psyched on this drop!

Ok so some background. The Cali 2.5 Sunnies feature the same frame as our Cali 2′s, just this time they’re translucent black with smoke coloured lenses. Still dope quality, still real affordable at $40 inc. postage.

I’m real pumped on the Cali 2.5 Tie Dye tees. Featuring some cholo-esque ‘DIS HON OUR’ steeze along with electric black tie dye, these aren’t going to stick around all that long. Props to Tave for helpin me tie dye all of em! Thirty-five clams wil score you one.

So anyway, here’s the gif. Hit up the online store to grab one now, or Backbone BMX, Helensvale BMX, Little Black Bike, Riding Way, The Sanction or Welly’s Cycles from February 23 (this Thursday).

BMX for Floods @ City Dirt

February 21st, 2011 — 12:14am

Unless you’ve been hanging out under a rock for the last few months, you’d be at least somewhat aware that a bunch of jams were held all around Australia yesterday to help out crew affected by the floods in January. Our home is Adelaide, so naturally we supported the jam being held at Adelaide City Dirt. Having said that, the jam would not have gone ahead without the time and work put in by the Stowaway and Little Black Bike dudes. Respect!

So anyway, I spent most of the day floating around with my camera. Here are a bunch of photos I shot. More will likely appear in The Photobook Project and hopefully the jam gets covered in a mag or two, too.

SA Veteran Craig Bennet and mohawk aficionado shredding nice and early in the day:

All terrain killer Wolfman with a wild turndown. This kid has got skills, watch out!

Danny Drazetic lurking around. Watch out, he is coming up.

Danny Drazetic

Ryan Lloyd is stupid. More on that in a few moments.

Ryan again, this time with Haydn Banks, Stowaway storeman.

And Ryan again, flying solo.

Ernie is a pal from way back, he can do much more than shralp a berm but I dig this photo.

Jack, South Australia’s second best BMX sales dude got steeze.

This is SA’s best BMX sales dude in BMX. We love Little Black Bike and we love Matt Hodgson.

The crowd late in the day. Heaps of crew! Thanks for coming out!

3rd prize was about $500 worth of Dishonour gear, we didn’t catch this kid’s name but he was pretty stoked on winning!

And this dude won the S&M Dirtbike replica, I think everyone was slightly envious. Dope bike, dope prize. Thanks to Stowaway for that!

To live and ride in Kerang

February 14th, 2011 — 6:51am

Chris was riding at the skatepark last week and a ABC reporter stopped past, had a quick chat, and after realising how cool Chris’ attitude is, decided to film a little news article on him featuring some shredding. Can’t embed it, so hit up this link.

BMX for floods

February 9th, 2011 — 8:44am

When Shaun Jarvis from Freestyle Now flicked an email round a few weeks back, asking for supporters for a nationwide jam he wanted to organise, we were real keen to get behind it and help out our homies affected by the floods that pretty much swept the east coast.

So yeah – we are supporting the events in SA (at City Dirt in Adelaide) and the NT (at Rapid Creek Skatepark). I’m not sure what the deal is in Darwin, but in Adelaide a bunch of S&M, United and Dishonour gear will raffled off. Thanks to Jay and the boys at Stowaway for hooking up the S&M and United stuff up!

Come out, have a ride, and buy a few tickets in the raffles to raise some dollars. Yeah!

Update Life

February 5th, 2011 — 9:02am

Just a few bits and pieces worth posting.

Sanction, Helensvale BMX, Little Black Bike, and Riding Way all got our Compton snapbacks and tees. I’m not sure if Backbone have received their order yet, but if they haven’t, it should be arriving on Monday.

While we’re talking about the Compton drop, shit has sold really quick… much quicker than I would have expected. Tee wise… Super low on smalls, larges and x-larges. I ordered a crap load of mediums (cause they usually run out first) which seems to have paid off, cause I’ve got a few mediums left still. The caps are selling quick too… but the one colour & one-size-fits all makes a life a bunch easier stock wise for us!

So yeah. Either holla at the online store or at one of the stockists mentioned above. Yeah!

Umm and apart from that, if you’re bored and swing the Twitter way, you should follow us. We tweet a bit, and are especially partial to a bit of tweet pic action mid session. Yeah be there, ya heard.

I’m done. Time for a ride!

Compton Drop

January 30th, 2011 — 1:12pm

I don’t wanna hype all this too much, but we’ve been working on a snap-back for so effing long it’s ridiculous. After messing around with a few different manufacturers that didn’t work out right, we got it all sorted and now are dropping these bad boys.

So for our first snap, we didn’t stray too far from the humble starter cap. Grey and black colour scheme reminiscent of the early 90′s Raiders and Kings (and of course our boys at NWA!), hooked up with a traditional starter green underbill. ‘Dishonour’ on the front and ‘Ride More’ on the rear in grey/white 3d embroidery set it off. There are also a few neat touches, like a bike woven label at the rear opening and ‘dishonour.’ inner taping. Shit’s real!

We’ve also dropped a dope tee ($35) with the snaps, which yeah… is dope. Printed on our own blanks (which aren’t too short, or too tall… they’re just right) they’ve got our new ‘bike stamp’ emblem teamed up with a collegiate motto style print.

Holla at our online store to order one, or you can visit Backbone BMX, Helensvale BMX, Little Black Bike, Riding Way, or Welly’s Cycles and they can sort you out.

Anyway, enough of me writing stuff. Here’s the promo:
